Setting up a Business-like Facebook Profile
Upload a Photo

It first asks you to connect to your email account to find friends. (Don’t worry about this). Then Asks you to fill out high school (don’t worry about this) and company information (ensure you put the Company Name here). Then asks you to Upload a Picture.. the Uploading a photo is the most important step.
Verify Email

While waiting for the photo to upload, login to your email account and verify your facebook account.
Fill out your Profile Information

Click on Edit Profile
Profile Settings

If you are setting this up for a client, ensure you make the person “In a Relationship” and tick “Friendship” and “Networking”. And fill out any details you know.
Political and Religious

Leave these blank, religion and politics = cause for discussions that you don’t want to have on a business account.
Likes and Interests

For the boxes “Activities, Interests, Music, TV, Movies, and Books”, if you start typing a couple of letters and wait.. it will show you what other people have typed, so you can fill out a couple of those details, just by seeing what others have typed.
Likes and Interests (Example)

I filled out the above profile, just using other peoples examples when I typed a few letters.
Fave Quote

Head over to Google and type in “Fave Quote” for a selection of the best. Just stay away from politics, religion, and anything offensive – I would stick to “Motivational” and Personal development type quotes.
About Me

Unless you are great with this stuff, keep it simple, maybe just point form like:
1.) Name: My name is Mitchell
2.) Something about your personality: I’m funny (or Sarcastic, or a Geek, or Sensitive), etc.
3.) Age: I’m 42
4.) Some activity you like doing: I like surfing, although rarely have time these days.
5.) Something I’m good at: I’m a great guitar player.
6.) Fave Food: Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, Meat Pie, Spaghetti, Meatballs, etc.
Contact Information

Don’t worry about IM Screen Names or Mobile Phone. Add the address. Add the Website.
Education and Work

Don’t worry about the school stuff. Fill out the Employer details, and grab a bit of a description from the “About” section of the website.
Final Result
